Panthers Roll to an 83-54 win at the Salem State Holiday Classic

Salem, MA --- Top-ranked Middlebury returned from the holiday break with an 83-54 win over Curry at the Salem State Holiday Classic. The Panthers return to action on Friday when they battle the host school at 7:00 p.m. Middlebury shot .571 from the floor in the game, outscoring its opponents 23-6 from the charity stripe.

Leading 36-21 at the half, Middlebury ran away with the game in the second session, cruising to the victory. All five starters were in double-figures for the Panthers, led by Ryan Sharry, who scored 22  points on 8-11 shooting, while grabbing 10 boards. Peter Lynch made all six shots he took, going 6-6 from the floor (8 rebounds), while Jake Wolfin, Dean Brierley and Joey Kizel each scored 10 points. Kizel and Wolfin had seven assists apiece in the win.
