Game to be made up on President's Day

The boy's high school hockey game between the Essex Hornets and the Rutland Raiders, scheduled for tonight in Essex, has been postponed. An E-Mail sent out by Essex Athletic Director Ed Hockenberry late this morning announced the postponement. Hockenberry told NSN Sports late this afternoon that the game was postponed due to illness going through the Rutland club that would have made it very difficult for them to field a team.

The game has been re-scheduled for President's Day, Monday, February 20th. The game will be played at 2:15 in the afternoon at the Essex Rink.

The game was to be videostreamed by NSN Sports. We hope to still do the game, and will make an announcement as soon as a decision is made.
