Vikes, Rangers play to 1-1 tie

Lake Region's Ashley Locke scored with six minutes remaining as the Rangers earned a 1-1 tie with Lyndon Institute yesterday in schoolgirl soccer action.
The Vikings took the lead on a Brandi Surridge goal, off an assist from Taryn Colby, but couldn't hold on to earn their first win of the season.
Rayne Engelman and Riley Blankenship combined to make 11 saves in net for Lyndon while Ali Hall stopped six shots in net for the Rangers.
Lyndon is now 0-1-1.
