Pairings Set For Week 9 In Division One High School Football

Hurricanes, Bobwhites. Tigers and Rebels Earn Playoff Home Games

The pairings have been announced the the Vermont Interscholastic Football League For the Division 1 Wild Card Games .... Four quarterfinal playoff games and three consolation games.

In the playoff games :

#1 Hartford hosts #8 St J (Friday Night at 7 PM)

#2 B.F.A. hosts #7 Rutland (Friday Night at 7 PM)

#3 Middlebury hosts #6 Colchester (Friday Night at 7 PM)

#4 South Burlington hosts #5 Champlain Valley (Friday Night at 7 PM)

In the other games:

#9 Brattleboro hosts #10 Essex (Friday Night at 7 PM)

And the other two games we have ties for 11^th place and for 13^th place

As outlined in the Tie Breaking Procedures – both schools are tied all the way to THE COIN FLIP So there will be meeting at the VPA Office on Monday Morning at 10:00 AM for a conference phone call for these schools to determine SITE ONLY.

The final pairings are:

#11 Mt. Mansfield and #11 Mt. Anthony ... and #13 Burlington and #13 Spaulding
