“An objective perspective is one that is not influenced by emotions, opinions, or personal feelings- it is a perspective based in fact, in things quantifiable and measurable. A subjective perspective is one open to greater interpretation based on personal feeling, emotion, aesthetics, etc.”

So when I say that I think the top sports story of 2016 is Vermont’s victory over New Hampshire in the Shrine football game it is  subjective .It’s not a fact, it’s my opinion. Those types of things are always subjective. The best anything is always an opinion. Lebron James was the Sports Illustrated Male Athlete of the Year. That’s SI’s opinion, but some may disagree. Others may think it’s Michael Phelps. The Hall of Fame is subjective. Some may think player A is a Hall of Famer and others may think player B is a Hall of Famer.

It doesn’t make anybody wrong, it’s an opinion. Why is that so hard for people to understand? It’s simple to me!
