I was thinking that you really got to be lucky to win the Super Bowl.

Yes the Patriots were really lucky to win this one on Sunday. As a matter of fact in all five of their winning Super Bowls the Pats have been really lucky. On the other hand they were really unlucky in the two Super Bowl losses to the Giants. In the other losses to the Bears and Packers they were just plain beat.

So the Patriots in the Brady-Belichick era are 5-2 in the Super Bowl, but they could be 2-5, 3-4 or 0-7. On the other hand they could be 7-0 too.

Yes they have been lucky and unlucky, but you know something? They have been really good too!
