The NBA trade deadline came and went yesterday and the Celtics stayed pat.

A lot of talk about the Celtics picking up Indiana’s Paul George. According to reports Indiana wanted three players plus a first round draft choice. Oh sure for a guy that will be  a free agent after next season and wants to play for the Lakers. Good job by Danny Ainge as far as I’m concerned!

The MSJ-Rutland boys basketball rivalry is not what it used to be and it was never as big as the MSJ-Rutland football rivalry, but when both teams are good as they are this year it still gets attention. They only play once a year now because they are in different divisions, but it should be a packed house when the two teams get together at 7 tonight at Rutland High! It should be rocking!
