I went 10-6 in the NFL football picks in week #16 and now stand at 151-87.

You might think there are too many college football bowl games, but I’ve actually watched a little bit of everyone of them except for the ones that are on too late for me.

I actually watched a little bit of the Shrine game of the Carolinas on ESPNU the other day. The idea for the Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl game came from the Shrine Game of the Carolinas. This was the 80th annual game played in Spartanburg, South Carolina before  less than full house. North Carolina scored late to win it. You might be surprised that South Carolina leads in the series 44-32 with 4 ties. I say that because North Carolina has bigger metro areas than South Carolina. Same case as New Hampshire over Vermont. On the other hand North Carolina is more of a basketball state and South Carolina is a football state. The first game was played in 1937 and was a scoreless tie. North Carolina won the 2015 game as well by a score of 54-39. That game must’ve been something.

I did watch Jeopardy last night and I was shocked that all three contestants missed a question about Vin Scully. They showed his picture too. I think Santa Claus is less recognizable than Vin Scully.
