We’re into the final week of the high school hockey and girl’s basketball seasons … Spaulding’s boys hockey team took a big step toward nailing down the number two seed in the Metro Division tournament yesterday afternoon with their 4-1 win over defending state champion CVU at the BOR in Barre. Then last night the Burlington High Seahorses moved into second place in the girl’s Division One basketball rankings with a 44-37 win over arch-rival Rice on Bernie Cieplicki Court with Hannah Senftleber going off for 32 points in the win.
