The Lakers' Kobe Bryant scored 44 points in a loss to Memphis last night. He surpassed Jerry West and moved into first place on the all-time Laker scoring list. Interesting because West's number was 44.
You can make a case for Bryant being the greatest player of all-time, but you can also make a case that he isn't even the top Laker of all-time. How about Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain and George Mikan among others?
Happy Groundhog Day! Is it six more weeks of winter if the groundhog can see his shadow or not see his shadow? I never could get that straight. |
